Animals

At the La Fuga farmhouse, our pigs are raised in a semi-wild state. They have an old stone building all to themselves situated on the farmhouse grounds on the edge of the woods.
We choose to raise our pigs because we firmly believe that it is the only way to produce good quality salami such as ours.
We gladly linger with guests who ask us about the processing of our salami and we also tell them how big of an event it was for the farmers of years ago.

We have a barn with a sufficient number of cows that guarantee the needs of the farm. We feed them with our grass and with our animal feed, which is absolutely genuine.

At La Fuga there are chickens, rabbits and two sweet Jack Russell Terriers named Gigetta and Penny, who are now an integral part of our family.

Just recently, an English spotted bunny by the name of Lucrezia arrived and will be happy to meet everyone who will come to visit her.

Your friends will also be our friends as long as certain rules are respected towards everyone and that you advise us at the time of booking.
